oh my gosh!

I didnt post ANY Christmas crafts!! I definetly thought I had made at least one post! Well here are a few things I did for xmas-better late than never? At least this year I will be better!

The wreath I made by creasing stars to be 3d using xmas themed paper.
Jason and I took a whole day to make salt dough ornaments! It started by making paw prints of our dog for our moms but then we used cookie cutters and even rubber stamps! I used my lace placemats that are made of silicone to put a lace pattern on some of them. We had fun and everyone loved them.
Made a button christmas tree on a canvas for my mantle.
One of the many different cards I made and sent out. Got to use a lot of the
left over scraps from the star wreath.
And finally my mantle! Not exactly how I envisioned it but I am still happy to have a mantle to decorate, and not bad for my first! I got our stocking holders at Target and Boo's at Ralphs and loveee them. Baubled a bit and put some handmade touches up there. I also hung ornaments at different lengths in our windows for all the neighbors to admire. :]
That summarizes my xmas in January! Next year I will be so much better!

Halloween Cards

Now that I'm pretty sure everyone has recieved their Halloween Cards I guess I can share them. I was really excited with how most of them turned out :]Cant resist some glitter stickles.Or a good owl pun :]Mummy was the boyfriends favourite. Most of the letters were stamped from a Martha Stewart stamp set I got a few years back but the one above I free handed, not bad if I do say so myself.
Oops, ran out of room and couldnt fit an a, my baddd.

Halloween Mantle and Crafts Galore!

I officially finished my Halloween Mantle. I thought I was done a few days ago but then some things fell that needed fixing and I added another banner today. I don't have a real fireplace mantle so this tiny shelp will have to do for a while. It may be a little cluttered but I just have too many good Halloween things. I plan on showing a different craft every day this week.

This is the banner I made today and added. I printed old encyclopedia illustrations from the internet onto book pages for a more antique look. I also printed letters and spelled out spooky.

The second banner, but first I made, I cut out bats that I traced from online. I used a solid black paper and a black with silver patter and alternated. I hinged them together with jumprings I made from floral wire, it gives them a bit of movement.
