we're home...
Were finally home and had an AMAZING holiday abroad. We managed to have some awesome adventures that im sure we will be telling our kids about one day. The architecture is so amazing, I probably could have taken photos for years but I think my boyfriend would have finally left me. My favourite thing: the wildflowers in England are daffodils, I think its the coolest thing ever that they grow everywhere and theyre wild. We did a lot of antique shopping there, I tried to hit every market that I could and ended up coming home with a few things, but it wasnt the antique finds that I was expecting. My aunt was telling me that they are a very throw away society so stuff just doesnt end up at the antique or seconhand stores the way that it does here. Kinda sad really cause I thought it was going to be some of the coolest stuff. Oh well I did manage to bring home 2 secondhand fur coats--that being said I would never ever buy fur that wasnt secondhand. Well heres some photos from our trip and Im already working on a couple crafts that ill post in a bit, I left my camera at my bfs moms house so she is mailing it to me.

Gnomes and shepherds pie
So this week I cooked a shepherds pie for my boyfriend. My dads from England and makes a mean pie and so I thought I would give it a try.

My dad doesn't use recipes and any time you ask him how it's done he says add heat. When you say how hot he says how ever fast you want it done and when you say how long he says it's done when you can smell it. It's a precise science haha. Well he gave me a few tips and I attempted and my pie came out amazing! I was so impressed with myself.

I finally finished all of my gnomes too. Now all I have to do is write a little note for one and plant it in the neighbours garden.

Finally I'll leave you with a picture of the most adorable old couple ever on the beach the other day, I can't wait to be like them in 50 years <3
