Here are a few of the canvases I did for my mom for her birthday(yes we are a skull loving family). This first is actually made of gum wrappers, when i was a little kid we used to peel the silver from the white backing and then stick it down, well this is exactly what i did here.
The next is a dia de los muertos skull that i did with paint pens and then embroidered the roses onto the canvas. Didnt quite turn out how i would have liked it but oh well.
